I’m trying to find examples of library tutorials created with Articulate
so I can persuade my employer to buy a licence! Can anyone point me in
the right direction?
I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but thought I would give it a try. Would you happen to know how much one of these courses would cost the student, if they were paid courses?
I tend to use Articulate as the main container for our resources, with other bits of software used to create individual activities.
The Library Guide for example uses Articulate, with bits of screen capture done in Captivate. However I've just this minute had a conversation with a colleague about possibly phasing out Captivate in favour of Screenr for screen capture, as Screenr videos are much less time consuming to record and keep up to date.
I'd highly recommend Articulate for this sort of thing.

Hi Averil,
Jade Kelsall ( @jadekelsall ) made some nice library-based elearning. I just tweeted her asking for links.

Hi Linda
That's great, thanks!
Averil
Averil,
I haven't gotten hold of Jade, but I have found a webpage full of her modules at http://library.leeds.ac.uk/skills-online-tutorials Not all of the examples here are Articulate, but the majority are.

Hi
Thanks, I've seen these in the past but loooks like they've been updated!

Thanking you in advance,

Hi Helena,
There have been several conversations on this board about how much to charge for courses here's one of them http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/1860/9954.aspx#9954

Hi folks,
Thanks for filling in for me, Linda - I've been on holiday
Yes we've updated the design of those tutorial recently, but the content is much the same.
We also have an online Library induction, which you can find here:

Hi Jade
Thanks - yes I saw that, it's nice! Looks like you used a variety of things to create the resources? Is there anything you would recommend?
thanks
Averil

Like to read books in library
Does anyone know of sample templates of courses where students learn how to check out library books?
