Just decide your font for project and set it default. Then copy from your Word file in to Windows notepad it will removing your entire text format and give you basic text. Then paste it into storyline so it will take project font which you set for the project, and as per SB if you wish to make some bold, italic etc. just use shortcut.
I know this is an "oldie," but I thought I'd add that I set up the formatting in my Word doc to match the font, font size, line spacing, paragraph settings that I'm using in my Storyline course. Then when I paste, it's all good to go - no "in between" steps!
