Bio: I have worked across the Finance, Retail, Insurance and Professional Services Industries in a Learning and Development capacity for over 13 years.
After completing a Bachelor of Business degree in 1998, I started in Human Resources working for a global Finance and Professional Services firm, Mercer HR Consulting in Melbourne. Within this role I found her niche in the Learning and Development field, completing a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Education and Training at RMIT followed by a Master’s of Education (Workplace Education).
In 2006 I moved to Brisbane and contracted to Accenture Learning before securing a Senior Learning and Development role with the Super Cheap Auto Group. In 2008 I extended my experience into the Insurance and Banking Industries, working as a Senior Instructional Designer for the Suncorp group of companies.
At Suncorp, I worked on various projects within insurance, treasury and banking, implementing blended online and face to face learning solutions for the business. In 2009, I was appointed the Lead Training Designer for the implementation of PeopleSoft across 17,000 employees within 5 business brands in Australia.
I am now freelancing as an Instructional Designer, currently working on projects for Human Capital Solutions (HCS). I am responsible for Project Managing and leading the Instructional Design across various projects in the Professional Services area.
I combine a unique blend of sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience into her role. This rich skill set, complemented by a friendly, personable, “can do” nature, makes me a positive addition to any project.
