Hi Jeanette!

You are always sooo clever and I'm hoping you might know the answer to this one.

I am building a course which will contain English and one other language.  The learner will select the language on the first page and then using triggers, I'm loading the translated text onto layers for each screen.  This way the learner can go back to the beginning and switch languages if they so choose.

Here is my question.  Once the learner selects the alternate language (other than English), is there a way to change the player to a player with the pre-translated standard labels?  I saved the alternate player as it's own 'custom' player thinking I could call that from a trigger but not sure how to do it.

All of us who have to translate courses into multiple languages are wondering how to this!

Thanks!

Hello!jeanette,

your tutorial is great, thanks for your sharing!
I have two questions need to ask you.
The One. I did a small game, add the function of the time. In testing, I found time out pop up a dialog box when I click the ok button, the function is invalid. How can I deal with.
Two time limit for the smallest unit of minutes you? Can not set the second unit?
Thank you!

Jeanette,

In Storyline, I'm thinking about creating a 'navigation page' containing several links (each to a different scene). Your 'visited' state explanation helps with part of what I want because it allows me to show where my student has been. However, at some point (after the student has visited most or all scenes) I'd like to show/enable a link on the 'navigation page' to allow the student to move to the conclusion. I'm not sure how I would trigger the button that would allow this behavior. I'm thinking a variable should work but not sure how to go about it.

Do you have any suggestions that I might try?

Hi Jeanette - I am a new user of Articulate Engage 09 and I have a problem that I hope you or someone else can overcome. When publishing my work, we all notice that the Flash player is very small and some screens are difficult to see - is there any way of increasing the size of the player so it is more 'full screen' If not, what do you recommend to overcome this - many thanks

Hi Jeanette, I have a client that is using Articulate Studio '09 with Engage v2.1.903.413; Quizmaker v3.1.913.413 and Presenter v6.1.903.413. I have Engage v2.3.1103.112; Quizmaker v3.3.1103.112 and Presenter v6.3.1103.112. If I develop using my versions, will there be an issue for the client if they need to make edits using their versions?

Hi Jeanette,

We have many courses we've already developed in Articulate and they include Engage interactions, but when we upload them into Storyline, they don't play on the iOS. because they are Flash-based.  Do you have any suggestions to make this updating process easier.  For instance, do you have templates that show how to make an Engage interaction in Storyline?  Or will we have to figure it out as we go?

Thanks,

Angela

I am looking for some input on WebEx vs Screenr.  I am looking to do some small systems tutorials to post on our LMS for folks to review if they missed training or as a refresher.  I am finding WebEx to be a bit involved and Screenr to be very easy.  Is there any information you could provide that may help me sort out using one vs the other.

Thank you!

I have developed an Articulate course (my first) and published it to an LMS. There are many quizzes throughout the course. The learner must get 70% overall (on all qizzes) to complete/pass the course. What should my settings be? My options appear to be view all slides or select one slide they get 70% on. Is there any way to choose all slides? I am confused.

I work in the health field and trying to create an interactive e-learning for laboratorians. I also like to develop e-learning for nurses. Any help would be appreciated. Pat

May be this is a silly question but do you have a place where I could download color schemes from? I am looking for a light orange, I have tried to customize but it seems I am not THAT GOOD customizing colors. I thought if people shares color schemes just like they share templates may be I could find something I can use.
