That's fantastic Montse! I never thought of using the toggle switches to create the true/false change. Allowing the user to customize some of their experience is great, especially something like the audio.

This is such a simple but effective way of using the TRUE/FALSE variable. Nicely done.

I like this idea. We've been updating our accessibility standards and this would be great for choosing contrast, navigation options. etc. Thanks!

It works really well for accessibility courses. The trick is to add as many persistent graphics and triggers to the slide master as you can. That will reduce the number of copying/pasting you'll need to do at the slide level. Storyline makes this much easier now that we can copy/paste triggers.

Nicely done, Trey. I really like the way you used lightbox slides as containers for your badges and variables check. That's a great dev tip for verifying your variables are working as expected.

I think David did an article about using something like a lightbox slide to dashboard variables.

The button is to assign specific variables needed to quickly get the bonus badge, but the number of off/on needed to make everything work just right made me remember that trick.

I love that idea of sticking all your variables on a lightbox. I'm stealing that right now.

Thanks Steve! See the comment above as well. It's a simple thing for use in development, but easy to turn off before a final version. I've found that will save a fair amount of hair pulling on my part, and I really don't have a lot to pull

This is so cool on several levels. I have a few \"spot the liar\" type activities I've saved over the years. I think Tom has a friend who does that professionally for the government so we have some content we can leverage. I'd like to do a challenge on this topic. As you can probably guess, the T/F variable changes which video background you see and how much the dial moves following a correct/incorrect answer.

Loved the visual approach, but I'm confused about why I failed the quiz. :) I had to take a polygraph once when money went missing at my job. Everyone on the team agreed to go for a polygraph--which is rare, because usually someone will refuse and quit. When I was promoted to manage this team I inherited all the files from the polygrapher and read the results. None of us were perceived as being deceptive, but I was shocked to read all the team members' theories of who took the money. It was depressing to see who thought I had done it. :) I guess they thought I broke through the skylight under cover or darkness and cracked the safe.

This demo came together after watching a cooking show with my sister--one of those shows where all the contestants get the same ingredients, they have to make something, and the celebrity chefs critique their creations--and my sister mentioned her favorite songs from our Italian family weddings. The two things collided into a demo. It has 21 T/F variables in it--one for each pizza ingredient. Check your speakers--this has audio. Mega thank you to the Articulate help desk and Ji Yun Bang who saw that I was only publishing one slide instead of the entire project!

We use true/false variables to show progress on the menu screen. Each menu item has a variable which is set to false. As users reach the end of module page, the variable is changed to true. This triggers a completed state on the menu item.

Those switches are great. Toggling them really reinforces the concept, so it's a excellent learning activity.
