Web-based e-learning courses have content that responds to the size and shape of the device you’re using, meaning it reflows accordingly. For example, if you’re holding your device vertically when you open a web-based course, it automatically opens in portrait mode with content in a one-column layout. Then, if you rotate your device back to horizontal or landscape orientation, the course layout automatically shifts to a three-column layout.
