I'm looking at your GIF of the panning scene, and it seems like the slide 1 slides out at the same speed as slide 2 slides in. Mine ... isn't doing that. my slide 2 slides in faster. I cut a tree in half (like your plant) and put the left side of the tree on the right side of slide 1 and the right side of the tree on the left side of slide 2. Your plant stays together. My tree separates.

- The right half of the tree covers up the left half because slide 2 is moving faster than slide 1. Doesn't make for a realistic transition :(

I would look at the transition time and see if it's the same.
