It helps in e-learning development, if one is knowledgeable about graphic design. And like the article says, there are inspiration everywhere - from magazines to CD covers. I also try to involve my SME to get a balanced viewpoint on what should be the overall theme/design of the project. I have never used moodboard - will explore it for my upcoming project.
