This is wonderful! I see the HTML5 version works perfectly too (despite the bitmapped text via Adobe's Canvas output). I often see tasty infographics like this in national magazines - is that one of your sources of inspiration? (It is for my UI work.) Nice!

I definitely take inspiration from magazines, I also find that newspaper infographics are really impressive too.
Personally I think to design infographics for print is more difficult than it is for screen as print designers have less space to work with, as a result you can often see really neat ways to display your content that can be carried through in to our digital work.
The book I mention in the article is very inspiring and I'd highly recommend it (or others like it) to anyone who wants to see the very best in infographic design in one place. I know our local art library has several infographic books so I'm guessing others will too.
