...and don't forget that any triggers you put on the Slide Master or child layout will automatically be available/fire on any slide that uses that layout - can be a real handy time-saver over a larger project.
As soon as a graphical element or trigger needs to exist on more than one slide I immediately think how I can do it on a Slide Master.
