Hi, do connected packages support version history for published courses? We have courses that need version history for audits and in case of insurance matters. Because of that we need to be able to show what version a learner has completed.
JurgenDeKind745, thanks for asking. Connected Packages doesn't track versions right now. Your LMS only sees the version from the package you uploaded. Updates you send from Rise go into that same package, so the LMS can't tell which version a learner completed.
For courses where you need version history for audits or insurance, we recommend using standard SCORM packages. Uploading a fresh package gives you a new version in your LMS and a clear record of what each learner completed. Many teams use Connected Packages for content that changes often and keep standard packages for "compliance courses".
I'm curious about your audit process. If Rise kept a history of what changed and when, and you could look up any past version, would that be enough? Or do you need the version tied to each learner's completion record in the LMS?
