According to our translation service, most of the Asian languages. "Click the button" and "Click on the button" mean the same thing. "On" doesn't make it more precise, just longer. Another pet peeve is "over two hundred" instead of "more than two hundred." One is positional and the other is amount. Don't mind me, I'm a collection of pet peeves.
