To try again or not try again?
I'm torn between letting learners have multiple attempts at non-graded questions built within my eLearning courses. I'm told to let the learners have multiple attempts until they get the answer right but I know as a frequent eLearner myself, I find that I get frustrated when I am answering questions and have to keep guessing because I cannot remember what the answer is and since I'm already frustrated, now do not want to bother going back thru the course.
I'd rather give them the feedback right away if they got the question wrong, but I'm being told that's not the right thing to do in an eLearning course.
