Halloween’s the perfect time of year to shake things up, throw on a fun look, and try something new—kind of like the e-learning challenges. So for this week, your e-learning challenge is to create a Halloween-themed interaction, microlearning course, or activity.
You’re welcome to create a new project or modify an existing one with a spooky theme. Use elements like ghosts, pumpkins, and dark colors to fit the season.

Here’s how you can approach this week’s challenge at the level that works best for you:
- Start simple: Rework an existing project using themed icons, colors, and audio to design a Halloween-themed look and feel. Yes, this is all possible in Rise, too.
- Level up: Create a short interactive story, quiz, or scenario with a Halloween theme. Let learners make choices or explore themed scenes.
- Challenge mode: Build a mini game or challenge using variables, scoring, or branching paths. Add animation, audio, or timed events for extra engagement.

You’re welcome to use any authoring tool you’d like this week. If you’re short on time, try quickly mocking up your ideas using PowerPoint, Figma, or your favorite graphics app.
