Hi Steven,
We are particularly interested in the new Interactive Videos and Scenarios, and have been experimenting with them.
Our organization is a certification body, responsible for training and certifying candidates in a highly regulated industry.
While we do not use Reach, all of our educational content is presented as part of role specific Learning Paths of which we currently have nine.
Each Learning Path consists of several Rise Courses, and learners progress from one course to the next. Each course has an associated certification exam that must be purchased and passed to gain their certification. So to add a standalone Interactive Video or Scenario to one of our existing Learning Paths outside of a Rise course is not practicable from our certification schema point of view. Our schema requires everything related to a certification course to be contained within a course itself.
There may be rare and isolated cases where we could use Guides, and Training Decks as entirely standalone content types, but they would be considered supplemental and informational type resources that are not part of our formal curriculum, that could not be included in any formal Learning Path.
So unfortunately, because the new content types cannot be integrated into a regular Rise course as Blocks, our team has determined that we are unable to utilize them at all.
Sad state of affairs really, as Interactive Videos and Scenarios are great additions.
