As always, your feedback helps shape what we build. And this quarter's updates are not any different. We're super excited to announce an exciting set of features that address some of the challenges we hear about most often.

Challenges like:

  • Creating training that works for both new and experienced learners without building out multiple versions.
  • Fixing layout issues caused by translated text without having to manually update each slide.
  • Easily editing AI-generated images so they're relevant to your learners.

Read on to see how our latest updates help solve these challenges—and more.

Rise

This quarter's Rise updates focus on supporting learners of all skill levels while making it easier for course creators to keep content up to date.

Undo/Redo

Accidentally make a change you didn’t mean to? You’re not alone. We do it all the time, too.

We've added dedicated undo and redo buttons so you can instantly reverse edits within your course. Go forth and iterate quickly and confidently!

Skip Ahead Quizzes

Why make learners sit through content they've already mastered? With Skip Ahead Quizzes, you can create a pre-test that gives learners the opportunity to prove what they know before moving through the rest of the course.

If they pass, they can automatically jump to a lesson you designate, while skipped content is marked complete. The result is faster, more relevant training that adapts to learners' existing knowledge.

AI Tutor

Sometimes learners need a little extra help. Now in public beta, you can try AI Tutor—the course-aware chatbot that learners can interact with directly inside a Rise course.

They can ask questions, get explanations, and receive additional guidance without interrupting the learning experience.

By providing support right when learners need it, AI Tutor makes it easy to support learners with different skill levels without building multiple versions of the same course.

Storyline

This quarter's Storyline updates focus on helping you move faster while maintaining creative control.

Image Editing

Have you ever generated an AI image and wished you could tweak the result?  We’ve all been there—many times.

Good news! Now, you can edit and customize AI-generated images directly within the AI Chat experience in Storyline—without disrupting your workflow.

Localization

This quarter's Localization update is all about making it easier to deliver high-quality Storyline training in multiple languages.

Quick Layout Adjustments

Translated text doesn't always fit neatly into your original slide layouts. If you've translated Storyline courses before, you know how time-consuming it can be to manually resize text boxes slide by slide.

With Quick Layout Adjustments, Storyline automatically detects common translation-related layout issues, including text overflow and spacing problems.

Then, with a single click, you can apply fixes across your entire project instead of updating them one at a time.

This makes it easier than ever to deliver polished Storyline courses to learners in every language.

Wrap-Up

We can't wait to see how you use these new features. From helping learners test out of topics they know, keeping LMS content current, refining AI-generated images, or making localization faster, these updates are sure to make life easier for you and your learners.

Team, the new enhanced AI image editing is one of my favorite features.

Gone are the days of starting with Storyline's AI image tool, getting stuck (because you can't achieve that 'just right' tweak), and jumping into another tool (from scratch). Losing continuity on so many different levels. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Thanks to the Articulate engineers. You delivered big time with all the new updates. Kudos for the AI image enhancements. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
