Hi everyone!
I'm Sabrina from Alberta, Canada. I'm a Learning Designer in healthcare , and I draw on my experience to create the kind of learning I wish I'd had when I was on the front line. I want learners to see the value in what they're learning and feel confident using it in real life.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I already use Rise AI every day and want to make sure I'm using it as effectively as possible. I'm hoping to discover ways to work even more efficiently.Since we're sharing pet photos, I'd like you to meet Hobbes! He's the best little kitty we ever did have. He's completely bomb-proof, kid-proof, and follows me everywhere, so there's a good chance he'll be supervising a few of our sessions right alongside me. Looking forward to learning with all of you!

Hello and salutations!
I am Ildiko and I hail from Marietta, GA where I work for Yamaha Marine, in an office for the first time in 6 years! I create e-Learning courses for our dealerships and partners to learn about our products. At home, I have 4 pets who are totally and unconditionally spoiled. Missy, the b&w Treeing Walker Coonhound (mutt), Dixie the Great Pyrenees/Husky (mutt), Teddy, the Shi Tzu and Stormy (the lazy cat). I'm looking forward to this cohort, my first, now that I was able to "update my profile". I have been using the AI functionality for about 9 months now. I'm looking forward to learning better ways of using this powerful tool!

Hi All,
My name is Annie Haberkorn, from Asheville, NC. I work as MAHEC's IT Educator and do everything from creating Annual Training to creating videos and how-to articles on just about anything folks get stuck on. I started with them three years ago and jumped into Articulate right away. The AI features are huge time savers but I want to make sure I know how to use them correctly, which is why I signed up for this course.
When not working, I'm spending my time snuggling with Scout, my Irishdoodle. - ErinKuesterCommunity Member
Hey everyone! I'm Erin, and I live near Iowa City, Iowa. I'm an Instructional Designer and Curriculum Specialist for Blackbaud (I spy some of my colleagues here!), a company that provides software that supports nonprofits and social impact. I mostly work with our school management products, so I create a lot of eLearnings for our academic customers (and as a former college professor, I love working with schools!).
I joined this cohort because our department has just purchased the AI assistant for Articulate, and I haven't experimented much with it. I'm hoping to learn what's possible with the Articulate AI and see how I can integrate it into my workflow!
My two coworkers are my miniature dachshunds, Pepper and Hazel. They have an uncanny ability to know when a meeting is about to start, and are prepared to bark through it! So just know if you ever have a meeting with me, you will probably end up meeting my dogs 😂

Hi everyone! I’m Joaquín García from Mexico. I currently work in the pharmaceutical industry, where I am responsible for training commercial teams. One of my main responsibilities is creating e-learning content and managing learning and development initiatives.
In the picture, you can see my dog, Chente
my loyal “compadre.”
Greetings from Mexico!

Hello, everyone! I'm Emily Moon from Northern Virginia. I am an Learning Experience Designer at UKG.
I've been using Rise and Storyline for many years, and it's been exciting to see how much these tools have evolved, especially with the addition of AI-powered features. I'm looking forward to learning how others are using them and discovering creative new approaches to course development.
We have recently started enjoying fish. 🐟

Hi, friends!
I'm Marrit Ingman from Austin, Texas. I work with AllisonKing at Blackbaud, so I won't repeat her description of our organization. I've also got some ID work at the University of Texas in my professional background.
I'm participating not only to learn more about Articulate AI and how it can help me, but also to experience cohort-style learning!
This is Pip, our very vocal (but sweet) kitty. Like most pet people, we never really call him by his proper name but by his nickname, "Bunky." (He likes to be around people and "bunk out" with us.) You can also see evidence of one of my weirder hobbies, which is collecting artificial grapes. Cheers! - DianeSoderho983Community Member
HI, I'm in the suburbs of Boston and currently work at a commercial insurance company with a title of Sr Instructional Design Specialist, though I spent much of my career in higher education. I'm an "old school" instructional designer, starting way before elearning was possible or even a dream! I have been using Rise and Storyline for a few years and am very interested in how AI can help speed production and development, so I can focus on analysis and design. Looking forward to learning!

Hi everyone!
I’m Deirdre, and I live in Portland, Oregon, although I was born and raised in Iowa. These days, I work as a Learning & Development Consultant, helping teams create and deliver learning experiences. While a lot of my work focuses on training strategy and consulting, I also occasionally design new web-based trainings (WBTs) or update existing ones.
One of the reasons I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort is that I feel like course development sometimes takes me longer than it should. I recently upgraded to the AI version of Articulate and would love to learn how to use those capabilities more effectively to work smarter, speed up development, and create even better learning experiences. This course seemed like a great way to get started and learn from others who are exploring AI too.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my two furry coworkers, Piper and Bailey, who keep me company while I work from the couch and are always willing to supervise my projects…or nap through them.
Looking forward to learning with all of you!

Hi, I'm Marla, based in Indiana. I'm the Registry Education Content Manager at Savista, with a background that includes oncology data specialist certification (ODS-C) and marketing communications. Day to day, I design and build the training that keeps our team of cancer registrars' knowledge and coding accuracy among the best in the industry. Training mediums include e-learning courses, live PPT presentations and job aids.
I joined this cohort because the demand for new training content keeps growing while our team size stays the same, so I'm looking for smarter ways to work. I'm hoping to leave with practical techniques for using AI as a real thought partner in instructional design.
