Week 1 Welcome & Introductions

My name is Jennifer Antoon - I'm located on the Florida Spacecoast and I'm a learning program manager for a Staff Legal team at a large insurance company. I'm very excited to learn from Articulate and you all how to use these AI tools well. 

I don't currently have pets, but here are some photos of my most recent vacation to Portugal!

My name is Mikey, and I'm a Senior Learning Experience Designer at Berkadia, a Commercial Real Estate Company. I'm remote and live just outside of Tampa, FL. 

Here are a couple of pictures of my office managers. Dax is the big guy, Smokey is the gray one, and Willie is the black one (both of the littles just turned 10 years old this year!)

I absolutely LOVE all things AI; it has literally changed my work in so many ways (for the better IMO), and the AI Assistant is definitely up in my top 3 tools!

Hello new friends! My name is Tamela (pronounced like Pamela but with a T). I live in central Virginia, in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains (my happy place). I am the director of digital learning for Simulation in Motion - Montana, a non-profit education organization which focuses on bringing the training that’s needed to rural communities. We’ve been focused on Montana but just this year started venturing outside the state because there are rural communities in every state that needs rural-focused education.

I own Phoenix Learning Studio (which is how I met my current teacher employer) and I’ve helped organizations with building online education for the past 19 years. I’m also an indie author and love weaving storytelling into my work.

I have two furry family members. Princess Noonie, a rescue Shih Tzu who really rescued me. We also have Meowkus Monroe, our once-feral cat who decided to adopt us two years ago. 

Hi everyone! I'm an instructional designer in the healthcare industry, currently living in New Hampshire. I joined the cohort to see what else I can learn and how I can improve my course building. Looking to gain new ideas and inspirations. I don't have any pets 😁

Hi everyone!  My name is Shannon and I live in Charlotte, NC.  I'm an Instructional Designer and love using AI as an assistant while designing content.  I'm excited and can't wait to learn something new during this Cohort!

Nicole Pillay, I'm the Director of Member Education and Programming for PGA of America.  Looking forward to continuing and enhancing our use of AI in our learning and development.  I have 2 cats: Gracie - the grey tuxedo, who has never found a box she didn't like, and Winnie - the brown tabby.  

So excited to meet everyone! I am the Director of Learning Experience at Realpage. But at heart, I am a creative ID who loves to dig in and create great learning content. During the day, I get to work alongside and set direction for our Learning Development, Learning Management, and Learning Delivery team members. I live in Eastern Washington but am from Minnesota originally. That probably explains my love for being on the water.

Greetings all! I am the Education and Communications Specialist for the state court system in North Dakota. We are a small system, so I do quite a variety of tasks. However, developing training does occupy a good portion of my time. I also contact educators throughout the state for civics education outreach. I'm joining up because I am a life-long learner and anything that helps me in my work helps the people I work with. I, also, do not have any pets.

Hello everyone! My name is Debbie. I live in Arlington, Texas, between Dallas & Ft Worth. I work at Allegion as an instructional designer. Allegion is the umbrella company that makes components for doors and exits, plus so much more. AI has taken off and made such a difference in my work. I just hope to make sure I'm aware of everything so I can take advantage of it. We are big animal lovers. We have 2 Pitbull mixes and 3 cats. Spooky & Pooky are just kittens, and as you can see from the photo, Pooky likes to help me at work by sitting on my keyboard.

Hi everyone! I'm Marnie Serafin from Pleasanton, CA. I'm a Consultant III who creates eLearning and training solutions for Northern California Front Office staff, helping employees learn and succeed in their roles.

I joined the AI Assistant Certification Cohort to learn how to use AI more effectively, enhance training content, and discover new ways to improve productivity and learning experiences.

I'm a proud pet parent to four rescue pets: PeeWee, Bitsy, Kung Fu Kitty, and Gertie. 🐾 The photo I'm sharing is an AI-generated portrait of my pets, which I loved so much that I had it printed and framed!
