Hi there! I'm Crystal, a new ID for Spectrum. I taught high school English for ten years and made the transition to instructional design last October. I love working with Articulate products, but I need more experience, so I'm stoked to be there.
Here is my sweet noodle:

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to meet you all! My name is Erika, and I'm located in Southern California. I work in the Program Office at Kaiser, where I serve as a Consultant III. In my current role, I develop learning solutions and system training for BETS.
I have experience using Articulate Storyline and publishing content to KP Learn. The AI Assistant features in Storyline and Rise are new tools for me, but I'm excited to learn more about them and begin incorporating them into my day-to-day work.
On a personal note, I have one daughter who will be starting college this year, which is such an exciting milestone for our family! I also have a fur baby who will be turning 8 years old this year.
I'm looking forward to learning, collaborating, and growing with all of you in the AI Assistant Cohort. Excited to be part of this journey together! ๐

Hi Everyone,
I'm Kirsty, I'm based in the UK and work for a high street finance company. We create training that supports new and existing complaint handlers in their roles. Onboarding, multiskilling, business changes etc... the full works.Like everyone in the chat so far, I'm also looking forward to the next couple of weeks. One of my colleagues was in the May cohort and loved it! They liked it so much they shared most of the tricks so I've had some spoilers but I'm still looking forward to completing the exercises and having an excuse to block out a few hours just to play around!
and...to join the pet crew (because why not) meet my 3 year old Lab Pippa, or Pip, or depending on mood, Pipplar, Pipstar, Pipparoni - new suggestions welcome ๐Hey Kirsty! It's awesome to hear that your colleague found the cohort helpful, I hope you find a few new things to share back with your team too ๐
Pipplarstararoni is so cute, I also have a series of nicknames for my cats (Osmanthus > Oz > Ozothy > Great and Terrible Oz, etc)

Hi everyone!
I'm Becky and I work remotely from Roanoke, Virginia. I'm an instructional designer working with the National Park Service and the Department of the Interior. I develop online courses, conduct needs assessments, and coordinate various training projects. I joined this cohort to learn how to best use AI to improve efficiency with Rise 360. I love using Rise and think that with AI I could save time to focus more on the design and learning aspects of course development.

Hello everyone,
My name is Paula Suleiman, and I am a Senior Training Specialist with WSFS, the largest and longest-standing locally managed bank and wealth management franchise headquartered in Delaware.
I hold an Articulate Storyline and Rise certification from Oregon State University and am excited to continue expanding my knowledge of the AI capabilities within these platforms. I am passionate about adult learning and enjoy finding creative and engaging ways to enhance the learner experience.
On a personal note, we had a cat named Audrey who passed away a few years ago. She was a cherished member of our family and is still greatly missed.
I look forward to connecting, learning, and interacting with everyone!
Hi Paula, welcome to the cohort! I hope it's a good addition to your cert from OSU.
I'm both sorry for your loss of Audrey and so glad you got to have the bond with her you did ๐ The saying of grief growing around their absence, rather than the grief shrinking, is so true.

Hi Everyone! My name is Melissa and I am from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. You probably haven't heard of Sudbury unless your interested in Nickel, the moon landing or Porketta. I know a very weird assortment!
I really came here for the pup pictures!!
I am excited for this cohort to learn better ways to implement the amazing tools at our disposal to save time, improve my design skills and to hopefully reduce the time it takes to do all those little things that mean so much to a course but no one sees!
I am a dog mom to 2 boys Radar a 15 year old Shih Tzu and Trapper John (any MASH fans out there?) Trap is a 4 year old Chihuahua Pug mix who was adopted from a rescue in Texas. They keep me on my toes and warm my heart daily!
They don't sit near each other often so a mama takes what she can get!

Hi Everyone! I'm Brenda from central Connecticut. I work for UConn Health and the University of Connecticut (UConn). I've been a grants and contracts manager for over 20 years and now I train people how to manage grants and contracts. Me and my team build modules for all grants and contracts financial compliance topics. I'm hoping to learn how to make our content quicker with AI.
I just rescued a new puppy yesterday! He's still too young to leave the shelter so I'll get him in a week or two but I get to visit with him. I'm still not sure what to name him yet so all suggestions are welcome!
Hi Brenda! This little guy looks like a Rembrandt/Remmy to me ๐

Hi everyone! Iโm Adam Dundore, and I live in the Baltimore, Maryland, area with my wife, Honor, and our two children.
Iโve been with Tobii Dynavox for eight years and currently work as a Learning Consultant on our Learning and Development team. Much of my day-to-day work supports our sales education and onboarding programs. I help create and improve training content, develop learning resources, collaborate with subject matter experts, and find practical ways to make complex information easier for our sales teams to understand and apply.
I joined the AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to move beyond using AI for isolated tasks and develop a more thoughtful, structured approach to incorporating it into my work. Iโm especially interested in learning how AI assistants can help streamline course development, improve learning experiences, and make our training processes more efficient without sacrificing quality. Iโm also looking forward to seeing how others are using AI within their organizations and learning from the group.
And finally, meet Fifi! She recently celebrated her first birthday and is pictured here enjoyingโor possibly guardingโher collection of birthday toys.
