Week 2 - Group 1 Discussion

Hi everyone!  Here is mine: I focused on Lesson 1 and the Key concepts and quiz at the end.

3 changes and why: 

1. AI-generated banner image: I used Add AI Image to create a banner image that supported the content and made the lesson feel more visually engaging right from the start.
2. Course Summary: I used the AI Assistant to create a Course Summary and then renamed the section Key Concepts. I really liked how quickly it pulled together the main ideas from the course. 
3. Instant Convert: I used Instant Convert to change a statement into an Image and Text interaction and asked AI to create an analogy to go along with it. 

All three were very cool AI features!

Most valuable feature: The Course Summary was probably the most valuable feature for me. I can see this being really helpful when creating Key Concepts sections for our courses. I also really liked the prompting capabilities for creating hooks and scenarios. 

Challenges: The biggest challenge was getting the prompts and tone just right. Sometimes I had to rewrite a prompt a few times to get what I was looking for. I also noticed that when I asked for a tone like “playful” or “casual,” AI could take it a little too far! I would then have to ask it to rewrite the content with a slightly different or more balanced tone. 

I really liked this opportunity to practice more with Rise AI!.
