Prompts:
Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
1.) I added an AI image of a team of diverse co-workers. I thought this would be a good way to represent many different cultures when trying to draw a picture of who this course is for.
2.) I used convert block to flashcards. I used this block to help add engagement to each topic where learnings could think about the topic before flipping the card and learning more.
3.) I often used the prompt "rewrite or change tone to be more personable and instructional" to help simplify the text and have a more inviting tone so learners feel a part of their learning journal.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
I enjoyed the AI Audio feature. We've been using storyline audio for scripts up until this point so Rise having the capability is incredibly helpful and neat. The different tones and accents were great. Lastly, I enjoyed the "bold key terms" feature.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
As much as I loved the AI image generator, the images it made looked too similar. I had to retype the prompt a few times to get closer to what I wanted. I also found myself constantly using the "make shorter" feature with text. Some of the AI generated prompts were quite lengthy and seemed like a lot of filler words/sentences versus being concise.
Great experience overall! I really enjoyed this course.
Great job on your course! I love your overall theme and the AI image style you used. Our organization has been focused recently on more realistic AI images so I love to see the photo variances in other people's work. I like how you simplified the course as I also agree a lot of it was repetitive. I think it would be beneficial to use the quiz lesson at the end of the course as opposed to just using the knowledge checks. This will allow the learner to test their knowledge and get a score of how well they performed on the course.
Overall great work! I loved participating in this AI cohort and learned a lot.
