DanEpstein​ That is so bizarre... I was having similar issues with AI-generated images where screen images would appear on the back of the monitor or laptop rather than on the actual screen.
I got the back of the laptop monitor thing, too, but only when I asked for photorealistic monochromatic line drawings. Also got a lot of extra arms and hands.
