My submission:
Building Fulfilled, High-Performing Teams
3 changes I made
- Used the custom images style to include our color palette. Also played with the different styles for fun.
- Added a custom block with audio. This shortens the space it takes in the course. Our leadership doesn’t like long scrolling courses so using the custom blocks let me do the same content in smaller spaces.
- Updated AI generated quiz with friendly correct/incorrect feedback.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable
- Love the quiz generation. Having the ability create meaningful distractors and answers that are the same length is a skill that I now don’t have to use. YAY!
What challenges
- Image prompting. Still learning phrasing and how to describe what I want. Like telling it to remove words vs. remove written language. This took the most time for me, finding what I wanted.
- JennieHartman-ePeer Guide
I use CUSTOM as the type and put in "NO words, NO Phrases, No Labels" to make sure it doesn't ruin it with misspelled words.

Absolutely LOVE how "clean" your course looks! I agree with the image prompting taking most time. Great job! ♥️

So sorry just saw this - it should let you download it and open Rise. Once you open Rise you should see the course listed in your directory. AlyssaGomez Please advise us!
Hi DK-ZG and JennieHartman-e!
It looks like your account is under the EU data center.Due to the strong data separation that's needed between the EU and the US data centers, there isn't a way to copy a course from one data center to another, which is why you aren't seeing the course copied to your dashboard.
To get around this, I added the course's Quick Share link to the activity page. This will allow you to view (but not edit) the course and it's videos, and you can copy the practice text into your own course. Remember, these activities are just for practice, so just do you best, and no worries if there is a portion that cannot be completed due to this restriction.

Here's my draft:
Cultivating The Hive: Essential Swarm Skills for New Managers
I decided to align the content with a book our team read together, The Song of Significance: A New Manifesto for Teams by Seth Godin. 🐝Changes I made:
- Updated branding elements, including colors and fonts.
- Added AI-generated audio to selected sections.
- Incorporated AI-generated images using a variety of styles explored during development.
Most valuable AI feature was AI generated quiz. This saves so much time!Challenges: Developing image prompts that aligned with the content was tricky, particularly when translating leadership skills into bee-themed visuals 🙂. Creating a template with preferred styles and reusable prompts will make future projects more efficient and consistent.
This project reinforces the value of AI as a practical content development tool. Although we continue to encounter some hesitation around AI adoption, Articulate AI has proven to be an effective way to increase efficiency, enhance creativity, and streamline course development without sacrificing quality.

Wow! Your 1st image really set the tone for your course. Nice work applying the hive theme throughout with both images and analogies. I'm not even sure what I could suggest to make your course stronger because I consider this top-notch work. Bravo!!
- CherylMacLeod-8Community Member
Very clever approach! While I am terrified of bees, I loved the way you took the theme and ran with this. Amazing images. Great job!

Here's the course I created with AI Assistant:
https://share.articulate.com/QPWDmCSn1lfDE4zApSudL
1. Three changes I made: (1) Using consistent images with a custom style so there is a cohesive look; (2) relied on AI Assistant to generate knowledge questions and course summary--there's always so much to consider and it encourages me to be clear and concise; and (3) added audio to introductions to provide another element to engage different learners.
2. Most valuable AI Feature or capability: I liked how the AI Assistant's build structure worked — the way it asks you for information as you go actually gets you thinking about what's really important to include in the course. Also, I was most surprised by how many style options we have when creating images.
3. Challenges I faced: I always want to include more information, so that's usually my biggest challenge — but the AI Assistant actually pushes me to be more concise.- JennieHartman-ePeer Guide
This looks great - make sure to brand your colors, and change the fonts to make things pop out more. Love your use of audio so I don't have to read so much

You've created a beautiful course. The entire experience was so calming and reflected your content very well.

Here's the draft I created with the fantastic AI assistant:
https://share.articulate.com/CaSONtArTZXAZqaD9ELF4
- 3 changes I made: Most of my changes were made to lesson 1. I methodically used the “to-do” list to track what needed to do and what was completed. I used Instant Convert a couple times, edited and created images with AI, and added AI audio—the audio was edited with AI several times.
- The MVP AI feature: This was easy: Instant convert!! I was sooo easy to test out different ways of presenting material.
- My greatest challenge: I’m not a terrifically creative person and struggle with prompt generation. Refining prompts can also be tricky, so this I think will remain a challenge for me.
- JennieHartman-ePeer Guide
This will be your next best friend then - this can give you ideas for your prompts and creativity! Have fun!!!

Hello! Here is my quick share link:
https://share.articulate.com/zaV7e9G3YwDAxa7MMAXH9
- I made many changes: I reduced the learning objectives, simplified descriptions, changed the theme (colors, fonts, layout, navigation), customized the images, and shifted the tone of suggested "manager scripts". I did all of the required tasks and then some.
- I liked playing with the custom image generator. It does create a bit of a rabbit hole, but I know I can continue to make the one I really want. I am not a Rise creator, so I was happy to be learning how to create in Rise at the same time.
- The challenges were wanting to change formats in some interactive blocks (like changing color or styles in accordions), changing tone or simplifying overall text - I would have to go block by block rather than whole course or lesson.
- CherylMacLeod-8Community Member
You did a great job. Couldn't tell you were not a Rise creator :)
I loved that you included Practical Tips and Manager Prompts - great idea!
One suggestion might be to include images on the flip cards as the course is text heavy. Adding some more images and color can add more interest for the learner.
I know this wasn't covered in the course, but you might try playing with the custom block feature - it gives you way more control over almost everything. It's one of my favorite Rise features.

Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
- Added a hook to the course introduction by including the statistic that happy employees outperform their peers by 20%.
- Removed the automatically generated “Correct” and “Incorrect” labels from the knowledge check feedback.
- Created custom AI image prompts to generate images that aligned with the course’s key concepts and focus areas.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
The AI feature I found most valuable was the ability to generate unique feedback for each answer choice in knowledge check questions. This is a significant time saver because it provides feedback without having to write every response from scratch. What surprised me most was how well AI could tailor the feedback to the individual answer choice.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
The biggest challenge was fine-tuning the prompts to get AI to generate the exact image I had in mind. Small changes in wording often produced very different results, so it took some experimentation to achieve the desired outcome.

Hi PatriciaPete352,
thx for sharing your course outcome.
My feedback is as follows.
I like:
- your audio at the start of the 1st lesson
- photo(s) of 4 ancient pillars together with the team (it's very related to theme and symbolic, I have one with pretty much the same concept ;-))
- objective of the course embedded inside the start of the 1st chapter
- key takeaways block at the end of the lesson
- multiple right answers questions
To be even better:
- think about putting man photo together with the man voice related with audio intro at the start, because... "Man voice - woman photo" makes a cognitive glitch for me
All in all, aesthetically and cognitively very pleasing and catchy course.
All the best from Croatia,
Davor

Hi everybody!
This is my course draft link:https://share.eu.articulate.com/DMoeqLTwc_DKM-8reDYpj ,
first lesson and quiz completely revised and finished. Lesson 2 & 3 I will leave for revision for some better times with more time - on vacation! 😁Three changes I made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did I make those changes to my project? To be specific...
- I added a custom block containing an AI avatar video with text-to-speech narration at the beginning of the first lesson. I wanted to create a more engaging and personal introduction that would immediately capture the learners’ attention and clearly explain what they could expect from the course.
- I replaced several of the AI-generated photos, illustrations, and content blocks with alternatives that were more relevant to the course topic and learning objectives. This helped make the course feel more coherent, credible, and tailored to the target audience.
- I used AI to add a matching activity as a knowledge check. I included this interaction to give learners an opportunity to actively recall and apply what they had learned instead of simply reading the content.
I also made several smaller improvements with AI. For example, I highlighted key terms in bold, adjusted the tone and vocabulary to make the content more leadership-oriented, and shortened the text by approximately 30%. These changes made the course easier to scan, more concise, and more appropriate for its intended audience.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in my workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprised me?
The most valuable AI capability was the ability to generate original images and photographs that were relevant to the course content. I also found the AI avatar video feature, including text-to-speech generation, very useful, along with the general text-generation and editing capabilities.
Another major benefit was the amount of time AI saved on small but repetitive editing tasks, such as highlighting key terms, shortening text, adjusting the tone and vocabulary, and creating or refining answer options for knowledge-check questions.
What surprised me most was how useful AI could be not only for generating complete pieces of content, but also for making many small improvements throughout the course. These minor changes would normally require a considerable amount of manual editing.
What challenges did I face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
The first challenge was the production time for AI avatar videos. In my experience, generating a video took at least five times longer than it does in some other tools. Waiting to see whether the final result met my expectations earlier, significantly reduced my productivity.
The second challenge was the repetitive structure of AI-generated courses. For example, the first lesson often follows the same pattern: an introduction followed by a flashcard activity. This makes the course feel predictable and limits the variety of the learning experience.
Finally, I believe AI-generated courses still contain too much text. I have an experience that current and future generations of learners increasingly expect more video-based and interactive content. For that reason, the ability to add meaningful interactivity through custom blocks is, and will continue to be, crucial for making courses more engaging, memorable, and useful.
All in all, thanks for the opportunity to explore the versatility and usefulness of AI Assistant in Articulate, which for sure will make me more productive, engaging and creative in producing eLearning.
Thx a lot for that!🙏

- Share 3 changes you made:
- Created AI-generated images to add some visual interest for my learners, would highlight the paragraph and generate a prompt for an AI image.
- Converted paragraph text into interactive blocks.
- Added AI-voice into the course to add another way for a learner to interact with the course.
- Which AI feature or capability was most valuable? I find the ability to automatically convert a block into another type of block to be the most valuable. I often will create some content in one format and realize it would actually work better in another modem. I will be very excited to use this moving forward!
- What challenges did you face? I struggle to think of new and creative images to include on a course like this. AI wants to create similar images of employees in a work environment over and over, which is not as engaging for our learners. Trying to come up with new ideas for images is always a sticking point for me.
- JennieHartman-ePeer Guide
Try using the reword AI Articulate has - like making it shorter, or longer- maybe change the tone. All of this helps you get ideas. Nice job!
- andrea_pulido92Community Member
Nice Job! I know that you mentioned struggling with creative images, but the images you selected helped the course look cohesive and very diverse. Sometimes when I am trying to generate new ideas for images I think of metaphors or different ways to convey the same thing. Sometimes I need an assist and ask AI or google and that gets the creative juices flowing so I can get new prompts generated.
- RobynMarraCommunity Member
Hi Amy! I agree with the ability to auto-convert a block to another is very handy! and you can explore content in various interactive modems and pick and choose which fits best. :)
- In your course, I really appreciated the instructions for the flashcards quick check and the sorting activities - recognizing that some users don't intuitively know how to use the interactions.
- I love the quoted caption and the text on image - I forget how much this adds to an image with no specific context.
- The AI voice also adds so much to a lesson with no audio.
Thanks for giving me the chance to review and comment on your course Amy!
