Week 1 Welcome & Introductions

Hi everyone! I'm Roland Fermenal. I have been working as an Instructional Designer at Cepheid (an American Molecular Diagnostics Company) for almost 5 years, developing online learning materials for our global sales force and supporting additional in-person training activities we conduct globally.
I am Venezuelan, but have been based in Barcelona, Spain, since 2012. From where I say hi and work remotely with my best "partner in crime", Río, who you can see in the picture below, but you can usually find him sleeping next to me while I am dealing with content, Articulate Storyline, and Rise, the main tools I use to create the materials we share with associates in the company I work for.
I've joined the AI Assistant Certification Cohort to get to know better all the AI options that the Articulate 360 suite is making available to us, and see how they can help us improve the way we produce and what we produce, and it's always nice to share knowledge, experiences, and tricks while learning together as a community.
I am excited to be part of this trip, to get to know the community a bit better, and to explore all the advantages we can gain by using AI to support our eLearning development tasks!
