Week 1 Welcome & Introductions
Hello and many apologies for the lateness of this post!
My name is Amber Lee Mogg, and I’m based in Edmonton, Alberta, where I work with the Government of Alberta. I currently serve as an eLearning Specialist, but my career in adult and workplace learning has spanned a variety of roles, including Training Specialist, Program Coordinator, and Learning and Development Consultant. Across these roles, I’ve built a strong foundation in designing meaningful, learner-centered experiences and partnering with subject matter experts to bring complex ideas to life.
I joined the Articulate AI Assistant Certification cohort because I’m passionate about exploring how emerging technologies can enhance the way we design and deliver learning. I’m particularly interested in how AI can support efficiency, creativity, and innovation in instructional design, while still maintaining a strong focus on learner needs. I’m excited to build my skills, experiment with new approaches, and connect with others who are equally invested in the future of digital learning.
For bonus points, I’d love to introduce my... most of the time furry tornados, sometimes velociraptors, always velcro... dogs. The black and white one (missing his left eye) is Chance, a seven-year-old Border Collie–Australian Shepherd cross, and the red tri is Aria, a three-year-old purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd. Together, they bring endless energy, joy, and just the right amount of chaos to our home.
