Hello cohort! I'm Kevin from San Francisco, California, basically an instructional designer with a longer title at Kaiser Permanente (KP). I hoping to gain some new skills to speed up course development in Storyline and Rise and be able to support other Articulate users at KP. Glad to see a number of colleagues in this cohort!

I love all the pet photos! My name is Tanya and I work for Zenith American Solutions (a third party administrator) as a Supervisor of Privacy Compliance. I've worked in training since the late 90s and always want to continue to advance my skills.

Hello everyone, lovely to meet you all! My name is Julie and I live in Brisbane Australia where it is almost always sunny (except lately very wet weather). I work as a Resource Developer with Alliance Airlines, located at the BNE airport. Along with the rest of my team members we develop the majority of training resources for our staff of 1500+. I have been involved in almost all forms of training development and delivery during my 20 plus years in adult education. On a day to day basis our team liaises with SMEs to update and manage the currency of the Company's training resources and LMS. I joined this learning opportunity because I work with Articulate Storyline on a daily basis and want to make sure I am getting the most out of it 😊 to ensure our training products are engaging and I am getting the most efficiency possible.
At home we have three fur babies; two dogs, Harley is a 12 yr old staffy x jack russel, Lady is an 8 yr old Beaglier, and Zip is an 18 month old short haired domestic cat who is very agile and keeps them both in their places as he sees fit!

Hi everyone, my name is Rick Cordes. I live in Commerce, Texas, and work in Plano, Texas at an aeronautical manufacturer as a Technical Training Developer. My day-to-day work focuses on teaching engineers new processes and tools, especially around Parametric Cost Modelling.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to learn how to better use the AI tools that Articulate offers to improve my efficiency and enhance the learning experiences I create. I’m also excited to stay ahead of technology trends and better understand how AI can support my work in training and development.
Looking forward to learning with everyone!

Welcome to the cohort, Rick! It sounds like a pretty technical position on your hands! One of the AI features when editing text is "simplify," and it sounds like I would need a lot of that to comprehend your content! 🤣

Hi, I'm Anna from Kitchener, Ontario. I build trainings and do LMS administration in the healthcare IT industry. I'm looking forward to learning about what the AI Assistant in SL 360/RISE has to offer - I'm already excited about the quiz question and summary help it provides.
Here's my happiest-when-outdoors dog Holly. (I'm also happiest when outdoors.)

Hey everyone! I’m Christina, based in Ontario, Canada. I work at the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan in learning and development as an E-Learning Specialist. Basically I design and build training experiences (a lot of e-learning as well as virtual instructor-led content). My day-to-day is a mix of writing content, mapping out courses, tweaking visuals, and figuring out how to make learning engaging.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I can already see how much AI is changing the way we work and I don’t want to just keep up, I want to actually use it well. I’m hoping to get better at integrating AI into my workflow, speed up content creation, and find smarter ways to design learning experiences (without losing the human touch). Also very here for the practical tips, real examples, and ideas I can start using right away.
Excited to learn with you all!

Hi Everyone - I'm a training manager at a software company and mainly focus on employee training for new hires and continuing education. I'm really enjoying the use of AI in Rise. I joined the cohort to learn even more about the AI features.

Hello HeidiFont and welcome to the cohort. We are excited to share what we know and learn from each other. Here's to a couple of weeks of growth and learning in Articulate! We look forward to your questions and insights. 😀

Hi there! I'm looking forward to a deeper dive into Articulate AI. I've been dabbling but think I can benefit from focused practice. I been in the Learning and Dev field for about 25 years with a focus on Instructional Design for the last several years. Although I'm based in WI, I work for a hospital system in Virginia as part of an HR team. My internal clients are various departments throughout the hospital system so that keeps things interesting!
Attached is my dog Storm, she was a Giant Schnauzer. She was an amazing dog, loved kids, kind, and thoughtful. She always hung out in my office while I worked. Sadly she passed 4 years ago. So grateful she spent her life with me.

Welcome, CydWalker_mwh and thanks for sharing your tribute to Storm. We are so privileged to spend time with our beloved pets. I'm sorry that Storm is no longer joining you at work. Thanks for joining the cohort. The exercises are designed to help you move from dabbling to actually using the AI Assistant in a focused manner. We look forward to the coming weeks with you as you share your insights and questions with the cohort!
