Hello! I am an long time sr. instructional designer for Denver Water, in ... Denver, of course. I spend most of my time these days managing the LMS, consulting on learning related challenges and coaching SMEs. The amount of time I have to focus on larger development projects is limited, so we have pivoted to helping people draft/create their own content in tools like Rise and Scribe, rather than waiting for me to have capacity. AI has been a godsend, both in Articulate and Adobe products. I feel like I regularly need to advocate for it with coworkers and friends who are still in that "skynet is coming" contingent.
This is Raven, she is 9 and currently struggling with skin cancer. It is hard, but she is a trooper.

Hi Jessica, welcome to the cohort! I hear you on the difficulty of advocating for AI with the adamant holdouts! Are there any AI assistant tools that you use frequently already?
Also, my heart goes out to you and your Raven with her condition. She looks like one tough cookie, though!

Hi, I'm Neka! I am in Tacoma, WA (by way of Atlanta, GA), and I'm a Principal Analyst for the City of Tacoma. In my day-to-day job I manage the training and development activities for a CX division. We provide technical and soft skills training and performance optimization for customer facing employees for the utility department. I'm here to find ways to incorporate the use of AI Assistant that will improve our efficiency. I have a chiweenie named Snoopy (the black one) and a doxipoo named Yoshi (the white one).

Hi everyone! Iām Naomi McHugh
Iām based in Charlotte, NC, but I was born in Bellingham, WA, and grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada.
I work at UNC Charlotte with the Center for Teaching and Learning on the digital production team for online courses. My title is Instructional Media Designer, and day-to-day I partner with faculty to bring their courses to lifeāmainly by turning static PowerPoints into interactive, engaging eLearning experiences (lots of Articulate Rise!). I also help consult on course design and overall learner experience for online students.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I already use Articulate daily and have started exploring its AI features. Iām really excited to keep building on that, learn new ways to work more efficiently, and create even more engaging learning experiences.
Looking forward to learning with you all!
Bonus: Here are our two cats - Millie & SadieHey naomimchughā so cool that you were born in Bellingham--that's where I live! It sounds like you've lived all over!
Glad to have you here, and thanks for sharing the cute pic of your furry friends!

Hello! I'm located in the middle of the US, Missouri. I develop self-paced courses, job aids and visuals for my organization. We just started with Articulate last week so I'm hoping to become familiar with the AI features in Articulate to streamline my course development. I'm also hoping to pick up some of the basics of using Articulate along the way.
Hi there GwenCā so happy to have you in this cohort! It's a perfect place for a beginner. Are you on a team of e-learning developers, or do you create courses on your own?
- GwenCCommunity Member
I'm the only designated elearning developer on my team, however there are many others on my team that develop elearning as part of their role (corporate trainers).

Also, I don't have any pets myself, but we have a series of neighborhood cats that we enjoy watching when they are out and about. š
Howdy ShannonCadden-4ā happy you're here! Eugene is a place I've always wanted to visit. Looking forward to learning together in this cohort!

Hello fellow cohorts - I thought I had replied with my info but it doesn't look like it stuck. My name is Celeste Bramlett and I have been a Learning Developer for almost 12 years. I work for Roche Diagnostics on the Indianapolis campus. I love my job!! The reason for participating in the cohort is to learn how to gain efficiency and more creativity when creating my eLearning content for internal and external customers. I have 1 fur baby and 1 slimy baby š Shiloh is a therapy dog at Shenandoah Elementary School and Lucy loves to swim and always looks like she is smiling.
Excited you're here CelesteBramlettā! I think you win the award for most unique pet! š It sounds like you've been in the industry for a while. Have you been using Articulate tools for all 12 years that you've been in L&D?

I joined the cohort to become more proficient in using the AI functions of Articulate because we just got it added to our subscription. I am hoping that it will help us not just speed up the time it takes to create a course but also help us increase the quality of the courses, because there is always room for improvement :)
This is a picture of my cat Koshka, she is always not so secretly judging everyone.Glad you made it, PamelaBordt-422ā! Koshka is a queen! š
