Hey, I'm Grace, and I work as a designer in the DC metro area. In my day-to-day work, I produce content across multiple domains: instructional design, print, web, video, immersive media, interface and experience design, etc. My eLearning journey here started with the original Articulate Storyline in 2013, and it's been fun ever since!
I joined this cohort to learn more about advanced capabilities the AI Assistant may offer. I can create the objectives, outlines, layouts, and media assets, but what else can I do to take the learning experiences further beyond the defaults? I'm hoping to learn how I can leverage the AI Assistant to do more with JavaScript and complex interactions in Storyline but also see where it can lighten efforts like estimating durations for custom-developed modules in Storyline/Rise or creating transcripts (not captions) for embedded media.

Its mother stands in the background, looking off into the distance. My dog has a sixth sense when it comes to getting her photo taken and she looks away, so please accept this photo of an adorable baby cow I saw on a trip to England. 😍
Welcome in, GraceMSH! It sounds like you have quite a bit of experience with our AI tools already! I'm excited to hear your perspective on the features over the next couple of weeks.
We will gladly accept your photo of Zoro, the baby cow. What a fluffy guy!

Hi All!
I'm Liz, an eLearning Developer at Merck. I have the luxury of working with designers who put the course content together, then I get to just play in the tools all day and come up with ideas for making the content interactive and sticky.
I too am here to upskill in AI, looking for practical skills to accelerate development, new tips and tricks, best practices for leveraging AI to reduce errors, and heighten the quality of courses.
My loyal interns help me problem solve, but AI might be faster and require less cat food. - IGroeCommunity Member
Hi everyone! I’m Ivan, and I’m excited to be part of this cohort.
I’m a learning and development professional based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, with a strong focus on accessible, inclusive, and practical learning experiences. I spend a lot of my time designing eLearning, building courses in tools like Rise 360 and Storyline, and finding better ways to help people learn without overwhelming them.
I’m especially interested in how the AI Assistant can support course design, content development, accessibility, and workflow efficiency. Basically, anything that helps us work smarter without losing the human side of learning.
Outside of work, I’m kept busy by family, sports, and my dogs, who are always willing to supervise my meetings from the background.
Looking forward to learning with everyone over the next few weeks!
Hi IGroe welcome to the cohort! I'm happy to hear your team is interested in accessibility. Have you gotten to try the accessibility checker in Storyline yet? If so, what are your thoughts on that feature?
Hello, everyone! My name is Katie, and I'm based in Virginia Beach, VA. I'm a Senior Technical Writer at Articulate, where I create product documentation, shape UI copy, and partner with product teams to improve the overall user experience.
I joined this cohort to explore how AI can better support our products and workflows. And being on the Articulate side, I'm interested in how you all use the tools in your day-to-day work.

Here's my chi pin terrier, Oliver. He's a quiet coworker who mostly keeps to himself but makes regular rounds for scratches. He also has the kind of quirky personality that belongs on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
KatieRiggio I'm so glad you're here! I first saw the picture before I read your post and thought, "Wow, that dog looks a lot like Oliver... Oh wait, that is Oliver!" I'm excited for you to be a part of this cohort experience and to share your perspective as an Articulate team member!

I'm Angela and located in Dallas. I work with internal applications for reporting personal financial interests at Grant Thornton. I am looking forward to learning more about this new function in Articulate and have a better understanding on how to apply it.

Good Day, eh! Hi everyone, I'm Sherry up in Canada, just off the island of Montreal in Quebec. (Bonjour!) I work at Charles River Laboratories and support training for QA staff as well as Regulatory Training for our sites. I've been using Articulate now for just over a year for training development. I've been moving our in person regulatory training to online interactive courses to allow flexibility of training - so trainees may go at their own pace and in their own time. I excited to learn more about how AI can help support my efforts in creating effective and efficient trainings - regulations can be a tad boring LOL.
Here's a picture of my fury princess Bubbles - she's not been too pleased with me being away two long weekends in a row for my daughter's dance competitions so she's making sure she gets to go to the next one 😂
Hi SherryLeeD so happy you're here! I'm curious if you were in the AI Assistant training session I recently hosted for your organization. Bubbles is truly adorable, and I couldn't resist bringing her along on a trip!

Yes, I was in attendance for that training session.

Hi everyone, my name is Mélanie and I'm based in Tallahassee, Fl. I work for the Department of Revenue as a Training and Research Consultant. In my current role, I am a team of one in designing and developing eLearning trainings, as well as managing the LMS. I joined this cohort to learn more about how AI can help me work more efficiently.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here.
I'm always so impressed by those who are a training team of one! Do you tend to prefer Rise or Storyline to create your e-learning courses?

Hi everyone, I'm Stacey Greenwell, Instructional Design Librarian and Coordinator of Educational Services at the University of Kentucky Libraries. With my instructional design responsibilities, basically I create instructional content to help students in their research. That includes skills like developing research questions, building search strategies, managing database search results, not to mention considering how AI can help (or not) in growing those skills. I've been an Articulate user for some time and am excited to see what the AI Assistant can do and be part of this learning cohort!
Hi StaceyGreenwell I'm so glad you joined this cohort! I took a quick peek at your profile, and I see you've been a part of this community for 9 years -- that's so awesome! I'm excited to hear your perspective on the AI features, given your years of experience using Articulate tools.

Hello! My name is Dejaka' Bachman, and I'm a Learning Content Design Specialist for Barry-Wehmiller. I work remotely from Iowa. In my role, I support internal content creation across modalities, with an emphasis on self-guided learning development. I love to work with SME's to translate complex content into impactful solutions that solve problems. I have also developed the content creation process for my team. I haven't jumped into the AI assistant tool much yet but am looking forward to understanding how my team can leverage this tool to support our content creation process and streamline our workflow. I am excited to learn from you all!
Hi there DejakaBachman-a, this cohort is perfect for those who are newer to AI Assistant. In just 2 weeks time, you'll be an expert with all of the features!
