Week 2 - Group 1 Discussion
Hello! I also use primarily Storyline, so spending time with Rise was a lot of fun.
Just for kicks, I used image prompts that include "in the style of Pixar" and "Use characters from The Office."

I focused the requirements for this activity primarily in Lesson 1.
- Changes made to improve learner engagement.
- I used the hook style introduction.
- I used prompts to shorten paragraphs and to change paragraphs to bulleted text.
- I added a couple of knowledge checks in the lessons.
- I rewrote quiz questions to remove "NOT" statements.
- I used instant convert to change text to an interaction.
- Most valuable AI feature.
- Instant Convert is a new favorite. This is an area where I can get stuck creatively, so it is really nice to have.
- Quiz Generation! So much time saved!
- I'm also looking forward to the Custom Block. I tried to use it (image attached) but could not get it into the lesson.
- Challenges using the AI Assistant.
- Again, focusing mostly on Lesson 1, I found quite a bit of repetitive content, which I caught and edited.

Looks good—easy to follow and well put together. Nice work :)

The Office/Pixar theme for your images is so fun! I like how you restructured the beginning to hook the learner and then gave them a pre-test to check their knowledge. Instant Convert and Quiz Generation are such game changers for me, I love how easy they make it to spark an idea that I can build off of. Good catch--sometimes large chunks of content can start to sound like AI because they get repetitive or have a slightly-off tone, so it just goes to show that we still need to look things over before we hit "Publish". 🙂

I really like the Pixar-style animation theme you used for the images, they tell a story and really help guide the reader through the content. Also loved the Office reference, nice touch! 😊
My only suggestion would be to keep the same image-theme consistently until the end for better cohesion. Overall, great job!!! - Abby-Chough4 hours agoCommunity Member
I love the theme and visuals! They made me smile.

Tamara - What a fun "Office in Pixar style" theme! That's a great way to stretch your creativity in a certification project, and it made me smile every time I saw the next image. I really liked the way you simplified the repetitive content and helped it flow better. My favorite tidbit that I would love to borrow is the look you used for the "Key Concept" in Lesson 1. It really drew attention to that key and I'm sure that makes it "stickier" for learners like me. How did you build that block?
I did have trouble with a few of the quiz questions. I'm sure you would have caught these in testing if this was a real-world project. There were at least two multiple response questions that only had one right answer, so they could have been multiple choice. As it was, when I selected wrong answers, the feedback was jumbled together and I couldn't tell which feedback applied to which wrong answer. Also, the T/F question accepted either true or false as an answer, even though the feedback clearly supported "true."
I would definitely prefer your course to what we started from, and picked up a few takeaways for my own work.
