Week 2 - Group 1 Discussion
Hi ChristinaChanti it sounds like your Articulate 360 account admins have disabled the public sharing options.
Do you have Review 360? If so, you can publish the course to Review 360 and share the link to your published content.
If not, you can publish the content for Web and attach the zipped output file here. That way, I should be able to open it and view your course.
Thank you so much, Alyssa! That works perfectly as a Web/Zip option. I didn’t have Review 360, so I really appreciate the workaround. Thank you for the excellent course—I’ll be referring back to it until I have it memorized! ;-) Please let me know if you need any further information. Chris

Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement.
- I used "Edit with AI" to shift the tone from academic to conversational. A friendly, approachable voice reduces cognitive load and makes the content feel more like a mentorship than a lecture, which significantly boosts learner retention.
- I integrated AI-generated narration to support multimodal learning. Providing an audio track alongside text ensures the course is more accessible and allows learners to consume the content in the way that best suits their environment.
- I used "Instant Convert" to transform static content into interactive knowledge checks. Breaking up long stretches of information with frequent retrieval practice keeps the learner active and helps reinforce key concepts immediately.
Why did you make these changes?
While I am already familiar with Rise’s AI features, my goal was to master the newest functionalities through deliberate practice. I focused on strategic enhancements rather than a total overhaul to demonstrate how targeted AI interventions can significantly elevate the user experience without overcomplicating the development process. Plus, exploring these creative workflows was a great way to stay ahead of industry trends!
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? The "Create with AI" feature was easily the most valuable. Its ability to build a comprehensive course structure from scratch with minimal initial resources is a game-changer. It eliminates the "blank page" syndrome by providing a solid foundational draft that I can then customize and refine, which significantly accelerates the transition from ideation to development.
Did anything about it surprise you? What surprised me most was the contextual relevance of the generated content. I expected a generic outline, but the AI managed to pull in nuanced sub-topics that I hadn't initially considered. It acted less like a basic template generator and more like a collaborative partner, suggesting a logical flow that actually improved the overall instructional design.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? One of the more amusing but persistent challenges was navigating semantic ambiguity in image generation. When requesting visuals for "browser cookies," the AI consistently defaulted to literal baked goods rather than data files.
To overcome this, I had to refine my prompt engineering—using AI to help me generate more technical, descriptive prompts that specified "abstract digital data," "web security icons," or "user privacy graphics." It was a great lesson in how specific you need to be to override the AI’s most common associations!
