I found this to be quite interesting. The one challenge I came across was in a self generated knowledge check. This was from the entire Rise AI course build, not me asking for a specific question where I would have controlled the type. It generated what was described in the question as a matching exercise but the answers were multiple choice with choices like A-1, D-3, etc. I tried to use the AI to change the question to matching to match the description but all it would do is change it to multiple response with the same answer options. It was easy enough to delete it and create a new matching question but the behaviour was odd.
Thank you for allowing me to take part in this cohort.
- Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
My course came out accordian heavy so I changed some to tabs. - Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
The ability to develop image prompts from texts is most valuable to me as I learn to develop more detailed prompts. - What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
There are times it still ignores my requests to leave text out of images when generated. In Storyline, I have had instances using AI JS where we go back and forth for a long time before I will ask it pointedly if it is capable of doing what I am asking and it then says no I can't. This can be frustrating. An example of that was in animating items to the screen at specific points on the timeline when the objects are in groups. It would animate one object to the correct place but the other object in the group did not. After much back and forth it told me to ungroup them, apply the animation then regroup them. I was fine with that but we lost about 20 minutes of it telling me it could do it prior to that.

TimHillier Thanks so much for sharing your learning! I totally get your frustration with the AI prompts when the AI continues to do the exact same thing you tell it not to. I find it really interesting it told YOU how to fix it, versus doing it itself.
