Week 2 - Group 3 Discussion
Hi there, this isn't my "official" post for the assignment, but I wanted to mention a tech glitch I discovered. I didn't see another discussion forum to put this so hope it's ok I put it here. When I was going through the Tips & Tricks: How to Get the Most Value Out of AI Assistant and trying the formatting key words & phrases in lesson 4, the AI didn't change the color of the bold words. I could "manually" change the color by selecting and putting the hex code, but the AI didn't do it. They remained black not blue. Wondering if anyone else had this issue? I'm on a Mac. Also, wanted to mention I had an issue being able to see the drop down menu items that included options mentioned in the practice sessions -- I ended up having to adjust my zoom to less than 100% so I could see the items, otherwise, they only appeared as one line at a time.
Hey DianaPerdue​ thanks for mentioning this! Did you notice the words did not turn blue even after you selected "Replace text" or "Insert below" to return back to the paragraph block? I ask because the AI text editing window doesn't show color, but you'll see the color after you accept the changes and close the window. Let me know if you already tried that!
AlyssaGomez​ correct -- the words didn't turn blue even after I inserted the text below and returned back to the paragraph block.
I had the same issue on my work desktop.
