Hello! Tech question -
In Storyline, I do not see the same AI Assistant features as in the video for Week 2: "Practice 10: Sync Text to Audio Narration." I have selection options -- Generate image, Generate quiz, Generate [question, summary, text-to-speech, sound effect] -- but no freeform text field to make a specific request. I noticed in the video the AI Assistant pane says "Beta". Is this available? I do not have an alert to Update in the Articulate 360 app.
Note: This feature was also showcased in Week 1: "Practice 3: Create AI Entrance Animation."
Hi PamelaMcCoy​! In Storyline, please click Help > About Storyline. From there, you should see the version number that you have installed. The latest version is Build 3.116.36838.0, which was released on May 5, 2026.
What version number do you see?

Is there another way to install an update other than from the articulate 360 app?
Updated: I found an update in the More options - looking into getting an admin from my office to allow it to install.AlyssaGomez​ Now that I have the update (Build 3.116.36838.0) this feature works! I had to update twice - once via the More button in Check for Updates, and then the button showed up with another "Update" in the typical location.
I also tested something with the Storyline sync text to audio prompt. I wondered if the audio were paraphrased instead of reading the on-slide text word-for-word if it would still work. I used Claude to paraphrase it for me, and Storyline did pretty well. One section of the text was coming in a bit too soon so I used the AI Assistant and told it to "delay the text that starts with 'taking a quick walk' by two seconds and it did it. It wasn't quite enough so I repeated that step but asked it to "delay it by another second." It worked! This feature is GOLD!
