Hi everyone!
Here is my quickshare link: https://share.articulate.com/Am7YA0HP_eMWsqsEq2Vat
- Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
i. One thing that I really wanted to include was real-world scenarios to help learners understand exactly how interactions can happen in their day-to-day. I created the scenarios by asking AI to create a new AI block, and then asked it to take the content from the section to help me create a real-world scenario. From there, I used that scenario to create a quick script to plug into the AI audio, to help the learner feel like they were part of an actual conversation. This is something my org is looking to do more of, so I was excited to be able to play around with it, and was super happy with the results!
ii. This one is fairly simple, but I love having the ability to take a text block and have the AI turn it into something interactive, so I chose to go that route a couple times in this course. It made it easy to also adjust the types of interactives I was using so that I didn't go to heavy on one kind. The mix is something I truly believe helps learners to stay engaged.
iii. I also really enjoyed changing the tone. For some of the bits of material that felt a bit dry to read, I updated the tone and edited some of the text together to make it a bit more fun to read. I also used Ai to bold some of the key terms, as I find it helps with retention. - Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
- I believe the ability to use the AI block to create a real-world scenario that I could then quickly flip into a script to create a conversational audio block was the most valuable to me. I feel like it adds a personal touch, helps learners feel connected to the content, and because it's something my org is interested in leaning into. I was actually surprised by how well the AI did with building the scenario in general. - What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- For this course, I wanted to play around with images generation and thought an origami-style cartoon would be fun to try and generate, so I used AI to create images of origami-style figures dressed in business attire so it fit in with the theme of the course. I found that there was sometimes some bias with how some of the characters were generated, and when trying to generate a specific type of character (masculine vs feminine presenting) that it sometimes completely lost the cartoon-y style and generated images that were more realistic, despite the prompt always working for the masculine generated images.

I love how you incorporated real-world scenarios; such an important interaction! Your course flows easy as well. Great work, Amanda 🙂.
