Hi everyone, I’d like to share my AI course draft with you: https://share.articulate.com/uf8JIjN3Wb8CcKVf2lUuh
I made changes to the first lesson. As mentioned in the instructions, it is only a draft. In a real-world scenario, I would spend more time polishing the course😁 My main aim was to practice using AI functions.🤓
Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
- I used a Rise AI Avatar, as I really wanted to test it, even though it was not presented within this cohort. I used this avatar as a trainer to guide the learner through the course—from the lesson introduction to the lesson summary.
- Several custom blocks were created, which included AI-generated voice. This voice matched the AI avatar mentioned above. The idea was to create a stronger feeling of the trainer’s presence for the learner.
- I applied several prompts—both pre-built (such as “rewrite text,” “change tone,” and “bold key terms”) and customized ones, such as the “Open with a hook strategy” prompt—to make the lesson more engaging.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
- I was surprised by the AI avatars, especially the ability to generate the same avatar in different poses and emotions, rather than using it only as a static talking head. This adds a lot of flexibility to content creation.
- I really liked the prebuilt functions such as “Create an AI Image Prompt,” “Create a Scenario,” and “Change tone,” which I had never used before. After this cohort, these functions will definitely become part of my regular eLearning creation routine 😊 They really help to streamline the process.
- I also learned a lot about writing effective prompts from the Tips & Tricks section. One particularly valuable prompt was “Open with a hook strategy”.👍
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- I was testing one of the prompts presented in the Tips & Tricks exercises but was not able to successfully apply the prompt to change the color of bold text (Prompt: “Change color of bold words to #1977dc.”).😑
- When working with AI-generated images, there were often issues with unrealistic text or spelling mistakes within the images. I adjusted the prompts multiple times to achieve better results.
- When generating AI voice, some parts initially did not sound natural. However, after adjusting the advanced settings, I was able to achieve a more natural result.
