Week 2 - Group 3 Discussion
Hi everyone,
Here's the Quick Share link for my draft course:

- Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement. Why did you make those changes to your project? Be specific!
I updated the theme, font and color to match what my colleagues and I use within our organization. It has a minimalist look, which I thought was appropriate for the topic.
For visuals, I used the AI image generator and a simple custom prompt to create photorealistic images of a small team working in a modern office. The images from the prompt seemed like a good match for the theme and look similar to what you'd find in a stock image library. In hindsight, I probably should've added a few more images to each lesson to break up the interactions and written copy a bit.
The Edit with AI feature and a prompt to bold key text were helpful for efficiently highlighting key concepts within the various Accordian blocks.
Since the course contained more content than a typical Microlearning, I used "Generate course summary" to create a concise, bulleted list of the key takeaways at the end.
- Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
For me, the most impactful feature was Create with AI. I found this helpful for getting some initial momentum and laying out the general course structure. This is particularly helpful when creating a course about a topic or with content where I am not the subject matter expert.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
The AI images required several revisions to the prompt in order to get satisfactory output. This could certainly be due to my limited experience with generating prompts for AI images. As an outdoor lifestyle brand, my employer has taken a firm stance against the use of any AI images in external facing content, so my team and I have had limited practice with this functionality in our day-to-day work.
Thanks for checking out my course!

Hi Ian!
- My recommendation would be using an AI tool to shorten your title.
- AI-wise, I like how you set the flash cards up to show one at a time! Also the process with pictures is great.
- Be sure to give instructions in the interactive blocks so the user knows what to do
