Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement.
- I used AI Rewrite: Make Shorter or Make into Bullets. My company writing style does NOT like wordy blocks of text. We write direct & use bullets a lot. I also liked the Instant Convert to break up a lot of text into something more interactive.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow, and why? Did anything about it surprise you?
- I think I'll use the AI rewrite most because it's so versatile to check for spelling/grammar, use the prebuilt prompts or even write your own! It's amazing how dialed in you can get with your own prompt.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- It's not perfect. Generating AI images can take trial & error to get the image & style you want. I also couldn't make it work to tell AI Rewrite to change the bold words to a certain color.
I like the overall feel of your course, and how you reinforced the pillars theme in some of your illustrations. I noticed a couple things on your quiz questions. First, one thing they teach you in test taking classes is the longest answer is generally the right one. That fit on several of your questions. If the AI did that, you want to prompt it to modify the choices to be similar length. Secondly, the last batch of questions were all multi-select, but only had one answer. You use the circles when it's multiple choice with one answer, and the squares when it's more than one correct answer. I'm kind of surprised the AI didn't catch that. Otherwise, well done!
