Week 2 - Group 3 Discussion
Hi everyone,
This was a fun learning experience! Here's the link to my demo course: https://share.articulate.com/iqm5yzLwGl7rK9GpTP5t6.
Notable changes:
- I added an ungraded knowledge "pre-check" to the beginning of the module to introduce the content and let the learner check their own understanding.
- I used AI Assistant to "rewrite the content in plain language" and "change the title to sentence case" for better formatting and ease of reading.
- I used AI Assistant to create a graded knowledge check with custom correct and incorrect feedback with answer justifications.
- I added a "Course Complete" Storyline embed with custom AI images, narration, and sound effects.
The most valuable capability was the AI Assistant's ability to rewrite content in plain language or at a specific grade reading level.
The only challenge I had was, depending on where I was activating the AI Assistant, it didn't always consistently reference the source material or full module content available at the time. I solved it by going to another spot, prompting the content I needed, then going back to the empty chapter and pasting the content in the AI Assistant from there.
Thanks -- Grace π€
Hi Grace,
What a great course! So many things I loved about how you tackled this assignment:
Loved how you started with a quiz and the kind instructions "It's okay if you get them wrong; we'll review everything in the education that follows." And then the kind conclusion "Think about the answers you selected, and what you may already know about leading happy and fulfilling teams. When you're ready, let's get started!"
Loved how you put images in the tabs - so much more enticing! Here's a note for Articulate - Seeing how Grace put images in the tabs, it reminded me how often I have thought "I wish the flipcards could offer the ability to have images on the front and backs of the cards, if we chose. This could provide more interesting ways to present information. And also, like the tabs, I wish expandable boxes could have images in them too!
Loved the consistent look and feel of your images!
Loved the question reflection table - smart way to display the information. It really worked for my head! π
Loved including the resources used to build the module near the end of the course.
Loved your video at the end of the course with actual applause for finishing the course! ππ
Not a lot I can offer for improvement, perhaps add some audio? Also, I know this might have been intentional to help us move more quickly through your final quiz, but just in case it wasn't, your correct answers had a [C] beside the correct choices in your final quiz (if it was intentional, thank you, I appreciated it! π€£).
Hope you'll check out my course!
UPDATE:
Looks like I have more to learn...in viewing another course I see the flashcards can have images! I'll have to figure this out, as I didn't see how to do this...
Thanks to JeremyNashβ for putting these in your course! π
