3 changes I made:

  • I added multiple custom AI-generated images throughout the course using style prompts inspired by David Anderson. Instead of relying on generic stock visuals, I tailored each image to match the specific content and tone of the lesson.
  • I converted several static content blocks into interactive blocks to keep attention.

  • I refined most of the text, including lesson titles, to make it more concise and engaging.

AI features I find most valuable:

  • Instant convert
  • AI knowledge check block

Challenges I faced:

  • It took some trial and error to figure out how to write prompts that produced useful, accurate results.

  • When using the instant convert feature, I noticed that the generated block sometimes omitted portions of the original text, which required additional review.

Awesome job, KatieRiggio​ ! The extra effort with the image creation is really apparent. The color scheme is peaceful and matches the topic well.

Have you generated a quiz in Rise? The activity was really worthwhile in my experience. I typically design in Storyline, so for this cohort I enjoyed working in a new environment. In Rise, the quiz creation process is straightforward and can be quite easy.

    Thanks so much, SusanWhalen0822​ ! I'm also more familiar with Storyline, so it's been nice getting extra hands-on experience with Rise. Agreed with the quiz creation process being intuitive and simple!
