Spin-to-Reveal: Medical Coding Decision Wheel

This decision wheel is spun by the learner to reveal one outpatient procedure coding decision element at a time, providing brief description and clues to look for within provider documentation.

I used Copilot to generate the code, based on prompt asking for a unique way to cycle through various key decisions that are needed for accurately coding an outpatient medical procedure, following documentation and coding guidelines. At first it was a bit overwhelming with the design/color and I wanted it simplified, so I went into the code and removed components, extra verbiage, lightened the colored background, changing font sizing, lessened the number of wheel wedges so that the text fit a little better, and more. It was several iterations to get it to where it is now.

This was built more for fun but related to work I do and I found the experience unique and inspiring - giving me ideas of what I can create for our learners.
