Accessing content (source file) shared by an email.

I have courses shared via email to me - source files, and I am following the instructions to click to open in my courses.

When I click the link it is supposed to open into my Rise course list, but it's not happening.  It is only opens Rise to my current list, the course link I click does not move the actual course to my Rise content.  Closed program and reopened...still nothing.  Can you please help?
