Adding audio and CC to a correct slide
Is it possible to add audio with closed captions to a correct slide in Storyline after a drag and drop activity? I mean, I have added them, but when I preview, the audio plays but no closed captions appear. How do you get around this? Thanks!
Hi JoC62 if you have added closed caption to the audio files, then they should be showing, provided captions are turned on. If they are not showing, it is possible there is a problem with the captions files. To check the files, just open up the media library and select the caption and edit. Make a small change (adjust the duration of one piece of text) and then save. See if this has corrected the issue.
Note: It doesn't matter where the audio is located. As long as it has a caption file attached, it should show when captions are turned on either via the player control or changing the value of the Player.DisplayCaptions variable to True.

Thanks Sam, that works. I had not turned the captions on before looking at the Correct slide and then wondered why the CC box didn't show. As long as they are already on they do appear.
