Adding design features

Hi, I like a couple of the design features in the attached screenshot:

(1) the green colour wash that you see through the image;

(2) the icon at the top of the process block.

Could someone tell me how to create these?

     TinaTreffiletti   It's tough to say how this was created without access to the url with which "DevTools" in chrome can be used to see how this was achieved. If you have access to the url that would be the first route I would suggest taking.

    If not, the following is speculation based on viewing the .png and using only Rise built-in features.

    Green gradient:
    I add a gradient to an image, before I upload it to Rise, using Photoshop or Illustrator. There are many programs online that can be used to create a similar effect.

    Icon/text: A few ways to achieve similar look in Rise:

    • "Quote" block allows for a small image and text
    • "Note" block, an icon can be added to a "Note" block, but I haven't kept up with new features on that block so I do not know if the icon can be top-centered
    • "image" block, or "text" block with a background image, note: sizing, spacing & positioning can be somewhat fiddly.
  • I agree with Ange's reply.

    Add the gradient to the image before you upload it. In addition to programs like Photoshop, that could be done in PowerPoint: Insert the image. Add a shape with a gradient over the image. Export those items as an image.

    The Quote B block is an easy way to have a small image appear above text. Just replace the author avatar with whatever image/icon you want.
