Can I control the speed options in a video?

Hello! New Rise user here. :-)

It seems that a video automatically has the option to be played at a variety of speeds, including 2x speed.

If I am creating a course for an organization which wants the learner to watch the video at regular speed and not whiz through them at 2x speed, can I have control over the playbar options in this way?

    Hello Lisa!

    You can definitely control the playback speed in Rise. If you don't want learners to be able to change the playback speed, you can disable this option.

    Just go to the Navigation menu under the Themes and scroll down to the Video Playback Speed to toggle it off.

      Hi Michele! This option is currently not available for Microlearning courses.

      You can, however, upload your video to an external video hosting site like YouTube and enable the playback speed. Then you can embed that to your Microlearning course with the playback speed option.
