Cannot see variables in publication with Classic player
Hi all, I'm quite new in Storyline abd I'm working on a simple project for a client.
In the slide they put some variables: (slide number) of (Total slide number) / (progress%)
For some reason client wants to use Classic player: with that player the variables in the publication are invisible. While with Modern player they are visible...
Any idea about a solution?

I'm not seeing that issue. The attached file uses the Classic Player, and the slide-# and progress variable references are visible.
I suggest you try re-inserting the references. If that doesn't work, there may be something else corrupted in the file, in which case it's best to contact the support staff (https://articulate.com/support/contact/360-teams ).

As Judy mentioned above, the variables should work with both Modern and Classic player. If re-inserting the references doesn’t help, our support team would be happy to look at your .story file to see what’s causing this issue.
