Convert Rise to Storyline
Can you take an existing Rise course and convert it to Storyline? I have tried the PDF to PPT route and importing that into Storyline (too many distortions and slides are not even 20% the same) and read below on another possibility. I have tried multiple options from below and it just shows a location address.
Thank you!
From the web:
Yes, you can embed Rise courses into Storyline. To do this, you must first export the Rise 360 course as a web package and extract the zip file on your computer. Then, add the extracted folder to your Storyline project as a web object

Rise is an online app that publishes fully responsive courses, with each lesson presented within a scrolling page.
Storyline is a desktop app that publishes size-adjusting (but not fully responsive) courses, with content presented on a series of slides.
Yes, one could embed a published Rise course as a web object in Storyline. But the result would be a horrible user experience.
Bottom line: If you want the content in the Rise course presented/published via Storyline, you'll have to manually transfer the content into appropriately designed slides in a .story file. You'll also need to program interactions.

Thank you, Judy. I use Rise and Storyline often and this was in no way a ask to perform this action and then publish a new course and walk away. A client wants a very long Rise course converted to Storyline. I was seeing if there are any work arounds to save time in doing this endeavor. Triggers, variables, adjustments in timing and audio/visual massaging of course are required. Sounds like a no-go and the manual slide-for-slide build is required. TY
