Course progress not retained on web (not preview)

I'm new to Rise and have uploaded a sample course to test how it functions on our cold fusion web hosting servers. It doesn't seem to retain my progress when I leave and return to the web site, regardless of browser. It does work in the LMS but we want to have the course accessible via web site. 

Can anyone point me to a solution?

    Hi Lee,

    When publishing Rise courses for web, no recording of student results or bookmarks are possible, as there are no user accounts to store this information.
