Cursor size too small when recording screen in Storyline 360
I have my cursor set large in my computer settings. When I record it looks the right size but when I play back, the cursor is super small and does not match the size when I record. Any tips on how to fix this?
Note: my screen size is set to 1534 x 862
Thank you!

Hey Amy,
Are you talking about the Step by Step playback? If so, that cursor is generated by Articulate and can be edited. Find the Mouse Cursor in the timeline and when selected, the "mouse tools" tab will appear at the top of the screen. From there, you can edit what the cursor looks like.

Thank you Ron for your quick response but still no luck.
I open Storyline > Record Screen > Double Click to get the screen size to select the entire screen.
I complete the recording > Insert as "Video on a single slide" (with "Show mouse cursor checked) > Insert.
I then select Preview (in the Home tab), and that's where I see the mini cursor. When I select Edit Slide, I do see the timeline and can see the mini cursor in the screen, but it is not selectable, and therefore cannot get to a "mouse tools" tab.
I also did follow through to "Publish" (just in case is was a preview issue) but it also published with the mini cursor.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for detailing your steps! I understand that you'd like to edit the mouse cursor when adding a screen recording as a single slide. I'd be happy to get you some information about that.
To be able to edit the size of your mouse cursor, you’ll want to insert your screen recording as step-by-step slides. We don’t currently have the option to edit the mouse cursor when inserting a screen recording as a single slide, but that sounds like an interesting idea that I can share with our product team.

Thank you for the work around and fingers crossed there will be an enhancement on the horizon. Great forum! Thanks again!

Hi Scott,
There isn't a way to change the mouse cursor size in Storyline 360 so I added your voice to the feature request we have for this feature. We'll let you know when this makes it to our product roadmap! In the meantime, here's a quick look at how we manage feature requests for your reference.
