Dress up an image
Hi everyone,
Am new to this platform and hope i explain myself clearly...I would like to use our own staff image and have the users to dress-up the appropriate personal protective equipment like hairnet, bread net, heavy duty gloves and so forth. How do I go about creating that image and have the equipment properly fited to the image.
Thanks for all the help.

Hi Henry and welcome to the community.
This interaction idea reminds me a lot of this Storyline safety equipment drag-and-drop download project that a community member shared a while back. So if you're looking for ideas on how to make the dress-up interaction work in Storyline 360, I'd recommend checking that project file out.
As for using one of your staff members in place of the illustrated character in the project, the easiest option might be to take two photos of them in the exact same pose: one with protective equipment on and the other without. Use photo editing software to cut out the backgrounds on both photos and then cut out the protective equipment in the second photo. With that done, you can set up the interaction much like the one in the example.
Alternatively, you could also look for stock images that look similar to your staff members that include cut out accessories. Or you could hire an illustrator to custom-create these image assets for you.
Best of luck with this project and keep us all posted on how it turns out! - HenrySoCommunity Member
Hi Bianca,
Thanks for your reply.
Have decided to go with stock images instead of our own staff photos. When looking through the project sent I tried to create similar however mine doesn't look as professional (see what I mean with the slide published)
I definitely need more guidance and help with this.https://360.articulate.com/review/content/917ebff1-fa6f-4f4c-be32-478a04787ce0/review

It looks like you've got most of the interaction functionality working, so that's great progress!
From this point, I think the quickest thing you can do to make it feel more polished is to use different software to remove the stock image background. Right now the outlines of your character and personal protective equipment are a bit jagged. But there's lots of free and inexpensive software available that can remove the background and leave the rest of your image with smoother edges. This article shares some options to try. And you can find lots more options if you do a Google search for "free image background remover."
