Flashcard font
Hello, what font is used for the text on the back of the flashcard and where can I change it? The current font doesn't display extended Latin characters correctly. When I go to the theme customization screen, I can only change the headings and body font.

I don't know the answer, but if it doesn't work, you could just have an image also on the back of the flashcard, and that .jpg image is of the Latin text.

Thanks Michael, it's a workaround I guess. The problem is, if it's text, you can scroll it down to read the whole message, but what will you do with an image? Use a smaller font I suppose but that's up to a point where it will affect readability. And if you want to edit it later, you will have to re-create the image. Why can't this font be customizable like the others?
Hi Arek,
I see what you're describing too, that changing the body font for your Rise course doesn't impact the Flashcard stack. I'm going to check with a few team members to see if we can narrow down why, and I'll keep you posted here!

Thanks Ashley, in the meantime I've noticed I have the same problem with the message at the end of the process interaction in my last course. So I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Arek,
I confirmed with the team that Flashcards use the "Heading" font you've applied since they don't have a "body" section. Hope that helps!

Hi All,
I am using images on 8 flashcards to review 8 different elements. I would like to combine text with the image on the front of the flashcard so that someone who is not necessarily intuitive to my choice of pictures will be able to see what the flashcard will discuss on the back.
So for example, I have a picture of a stake in the ground that says "Please Stay on the Path" I would like to add the word "Accountability" on or under the image of the flashcard. Is there a way to do this?Hi Patty! Your images for flashcards can't be edited to add text in Rise 360, but you could add text in an image editing program. Add that newly saved image file to your flashcard, and you'll be good to go!

Any update on this? An image is not the answer.
When will it be possible to have the font changed to body copy?

What a joy... I started using Rise 360 regularly less than two months ago, and this is already my third post to request a basic feature. I can't believe this was raised three years ago and still no solution provided. Flashcards changes the font based on the amount of text contained in each card, so if one card contains longer text than the others, the font shrinks and there is no way I can amend that for the font to be the same across all cards.

+1 to this request. My module uses Arial Black as the headings font and arial as the body font, but whenever I have a flash card, Arial Black is used for both the front (which is the desired effect) and the back of the card (which is not).
Because the back of the card uses the headings font, the text on the back of the card needs to be scrolled to read (meaning not all learners will take the time to scroll) when if it were in my desired body text, it would all fit on the verso without having a scroll bar. Please consider differentiating the font on the front and back of cards in the future.

I am having the same issue as Mike with the heading and body font. I would like the flashcard back to have the body font to fit more text and look better when formatted. is this an option or feature that articulate may consider so that we are able to select which font type we use on the back of the cards?
Hi Hannah!
Thanks for the feedback on the type of functionality you'd like to see for Flash Cards in Rise 360!
We are tracking a feature request to give authors more options for Flash Card font. Specifically, the ability to decide whether you want to apply the header or the body text to either side of the Flash Card. I've included your voice in the feature report and will update this discussion if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.
Have a great start to your week!
